- Are you spend a entire day listening to your biggest compétitor ?
- Does everyone on the staff know the target?
- Does everyone know the goals?
- What’s the station’s word?
- What need (or mood) do we serve?
- Is every quarter-hour consistent?
- Is on-air positioning creative, focused?
- Outside media: simple message, concentration of force?
- Are we seizing the moment?
- Are we thinking “outside” or “inside”?
- What makes us more local?
- What are we doing to be different?
- What are we doing to learn ?
- How does your station or, perhaps, your breakfast show compare
alongside your rivals, or against similar stations elsewhere in the
country?
- Do you want to make sure you’re playing music
while your competitors are talking or playing commercials?
- Is
your music mix the way you want it to be, or is someone else beating
you to the news stories that matter to your listeners?
- Do
you know the importance of understanding a record’s life cycle of
Introduction, Adoption, Maturity?
